The HHAF Humanitarian team just returned home from a fantastic follow up visit to Ghana. Our organization believes firmly in the powers of due diligence and as a supporter of HHAF, we hope you will enjoy reading about our progress.

We visited many of the areas we distribute food to, and were pleased to find the programs we implemented have exceeded our expectations.

At our Mobile Pack event earlier this month HHAF raffled off some fantastic prizes ranging from an NBA NETS Basketball on-court experience to footballs signed by NFL pros.

Our best giveaway, however, was completely impromptu. While onstage congratulating our volunteers' efforts, NFL legend Plaxico Burress upped the ante for raffle prizes and boldly suggested a personalized dinner prize:

"Winner of the raffle gets dinner with me...at the restaurant of your choice."

Dear All,

The Health and Humanitarian Aid Foundation extends our most sincere gratitude for your generous support of our organization. Your help with our first-ever Mobile Food Pack was critical to the day's success and we are so grateful for all that you have done.

Since HHAF’s inception, our organization has been working tirelessly for a higher quality of life for the citizens of Africa. Months ago, it was a vague dream to host a major event in NYC, but with your help we were able to bring our dreams to fruition.

Good afternoon, HHAF readers! Here’s the weekly roundup of all things Ghanaian in the news.

Quite interesting to observe the rise and fall of Ghana’s Cedi worth – it was noted on Thursday that the cedi depreciated in value for the first time in five days after showing strength. Readers will note that the drop in value is partially due to Ghanaian plans to produce 1.1 million tons of Cocoa – many companies bought the dollar to pay for the imported goods.

Enjoy the reading and HHAF wishes all supporters a safe, healthy weekend.

Any person who has planned a major function will tell you – an event's success is credited in part to selecting a proper venue. Whether you’re planning a black-tie affair or a minimalist fundraising event, it’s essential to have a space that compliments your cause and suits your needs.

Our organization has been fortunate enough to link up with just such a venue.
